Handling The "Negative Nellies" In Life.

It's extremely important to protect yourself from negativity, to prevent it from influencing your mood, energy levels, health and behaviour. If you find your mood changes immediately and you instantly become someone else in the presence of certain people, this is a good indication that you have handed your power over to them and have given up taking responsibility for yourself. The best thing to do is simply be yourself, be true to who you are and what you believe in, and be positive and sincere. Maybe, just maybe, your behaviour and energy will produce a more positive experience for everyone and create a whole new experience. You never know — you might be able to help a negative person alter their way of thinking in the direction of a better way of living. Those who are ready for you to show up in their lives will sit up and take notice, and those who aren’t, won’t. A negative attitude can be highly contagious, but a positive attitude can be infectious too. Spread your infect

For those of you who may not have the pleasure, Rocky is a DJ/Producer performing around Southwestern Ontario (Canada). He performs across a variety of venues and concerts alike, dominating each crowd he comes in contact with. This Saturday night, Rocky celebrates the release of his new track, AMAZONIAN , and his fan base could not be anymore excited. I've been listening to Amazonian on repeat, and every time I’m taken away, lifted right out of my body and sent on a journey. I can’t promis

Proactive Pokémon GO

Are you team Pokémon Go or team Pokémon No? I, for one, am definitely team Pokémon Go! I am thrilled that this game is out, not only to bring back my childhood love of Pokémon but to bring more activity into my day. I know many can agree. It's great to see that phones are finally learning from Wii and Kinect. Combining physical activity and video games is a very smart move with this generation.  Finally, Pokémon Go is released in Canada (as of yesterday). I don't think I've ever been more excited for an app or a game.  Even though the app has proven frustrating for most, with servers down, distracted drivers and walkers, those truly determined to be the very best (that no one ever was) persevered and are now joining their respective teams and battling other users.  But besides benefitting your health (and your Pokémon training skills), do you ever think about how you can help others benefit too?  Here are some ideas to bring light into someone's (o

The Present

The best present you could give yourself is the "present." The past no longer exists and tomorrow never seems to come, all we have is now. Now is where we find peace, clarity, happiness and everything else that's wonderful in existence; far from the regrets of yesterday and the anxieties of tomorrow.  The present is a gift, and we are blest to forever remember that.  We are all so much more fortunate than we give ourselves credit for. We constantly preoccupy ourselves with thoughts of things we don't have and  experiences we are missing out on.  You really do not know how good you have it until it's gone. In relationships, people tend to get too comfortable and as a result become bored and complacent. This can result in infidelity and the destruction of the relationship itself.  Only until after the relationship has been ruined does this person realize the terrible, irreversible mistake they have made.  At this point it is too late; this pers

Kickin' It Trackside - Trackside Music Festival 2016

Th e crowd was partying like it was Canada Day at the first Trackside Mu sic F estival on Friday. The first day of the new London music fest at the Western Fair District’s racetrack concert site had plenty of country songs and fans to help celebrate the country’s 149th birthday. There also was plenty of true patriot love in the crowd of about 12,000 fans. The sea o f red and white did not dwindle until the wee hours of the night. Fans wrapped in flags were up on the shoulders of other fans decked in t emporary Canada Day tattoos to show their Canadian pride by waving the flags over a crowd bright with countless red-and-white outfits. Mississippi’s Randy Houser, Alberta’s Brett Kissel and Saskatchewan’s Jess Mosklauke were among those who shouted out “Happy Canada Day.” By the time Friday’s headliner, Chris Young , had shared “a love song to tequila,” there was plenty to celebrate. There were songs about cheap wine and cigarettes, raising a glass to partying and trying
